Ron Burkey's Virtual AGC is published under the GNU General Public License. It's a integral part of Virtual Apollo, so Virtual Apollo has to be published under the GNU General Public License, too. So why is there a "Virtual Apollo License"?
The problem is Orbiter. Orbiter is free but not open source (and seems never to be) and Virtual Apollo is linked against Orbiter SDK libraries. This is why it's necessary to introduce a special exception as explained here: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#GPLIncompatibleLibs.
Virtual Apollo is published under the following license. In order to run, install, download or otherwise make use of Virtual Apollo, you have to agree to this license:
